Drawing is an essential part of my life like eating or breathing. It is the way I relax, amuse myself and make sense of the world around me.

I am interested in people and animals, the way they move and interact with each other, the way we recognise them from small details. My other main subjects are plants and engines(which are almost living things when they're working) I am lucky to spend a lot of time staying on an old tugboat and have been able to draw her engine and the boats and dockyards around her.
